I just returned from the volcanic big island of Hawaii (wow some great real estate up yonder), which is a world away in a grounded sense from the following holly-weird story: According to reports, Rihanna is allegedly a bad neighbor that could be headed to court for the accusation.
A lawsuit has been filed by Rihanna’s neighbor Christian Moeller, claiming the 21 year old singer is not an ideal neighbor. Moeller claims that cars visiting the singer park on his property, including car hired by her that sometimes wait hours, causing him to file suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against her and the owner of the house she rents. I am sure it some prime real estate for star like that.
The Hollywood Hills home is rented by Rihanna and owned by Stephen Yacobian who recently remodeled the home, which eliminated any parking. This caused limos and other vehicles to park on Moeller’s property for what he claims is hours at a time. Turning his yard into Rihanna’s parking lot, with cars using his driveway as a turn around spot. Switching gears for a moment, want to give a fast plus for Sotheby’s big island real estate as they do a great job and they have been working on the said big island for quite a while overall. Now back to the main story:
Moeller’s suit claims this is an invasion of his privacy and that he has a security camera installed to prove the trespass and invasion of privacy, among other claims. The singer is known for her flamboyant lifestyle and her contemporary jewelry including her jewelry. Yacobian has stated that Moeller’s case is without merit, but did not elaborate until he speaks with his attorney. There have been no comments from Rihanna’s representatives about the suit filed by Moeller.

More drama from the mad mad world of Hollywood, this time with an english twist): According to various mainstream reports Lindsay Lohan is evidently wanted for questioning by the investigative agency Scotland Yard (which is similiar to our Federal bureau of Investigation) of Great britain following the mysterious disappearance of around a half million bucks in jewelry which was part of a modeling shoot. it’s strange that Lindsay is just never making the news these days, ha ha. In any case, the Investigators in question are trying to find her (to question her, not arrest her) after the jewelry was used in a photography session shoot for Elle Magazine with the actress. Following that particular session, the jeweler there apparently determined that the jewelry was missing. It should be noted that even if she is arrested for the crime, she is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law. All in all, the representatives for the magazine have stated they have no knowledge where the missing jewelry might be. It is also reported that Lohan’s representatives have not responded to the jeweler or to the magazine editors. At this point in time, it is not clear if the missing items were leather, wood, silver, gold chains, diamond hoops or Techno Master Watches. For that matter, it could have been cufflinks or even handmade jewelry.
In any event, it was almost certainly designer jewelry, I would be willing to bet, with that kind of cost.
As it stands now, it should be said that Scotland Yard has made pretty clear that the actress is only wanted for questioning, and that there are a number of various persons of interest who are on their radar. Scotland Yard generally has awell-earned reputation for being thorough. All in all, this is certainly not the only situation in which Lohan has been involved with missing items. There is so much bling bling jewelry floating out there these days such as Ladies diamond ring, techno master watches, gold chains and Necklaces, 10k Gold Pendants and also Diamond G Shock Watches to name just a few items. For instamce, the high profile designer Louis Vitton will not work with her anymore, following a specific incident in which samples of clothing were used for a photo sessions turned up lost or missing. Lohan according to a stylist’s assistant placed them in her bag several different times. The assistant repeatedly took them out and at the end of the shoot Lohan walked out with them.

In yet another sad indication of the current economic mess that we are in, actor Stephen Baldwin’s foreclosed house in New York state will be publicly auctioned. As it now stands, he acquired the said home for $515,000 and it is about 1.4-acres in size. It is situated over in Rockland County and was originally acquired way back in 1997, back when his acting career was somewhat hotter. He tried to sell the house several years ago to no avail. Broadly speaking, the credit crises has made refinancing quite difficult. Sadly for them, county court records confirm that he and his wife defaulted on almost a million dollars in payments to their mortgage holder. That mortgage holder in question is the Bankers Trust Company (isn’t that the name of all of them?). The bank auction is set to begin on June 24. They might have offered some sort of credit counseling first. A spokesperson for the actor could not be reached at this time. The actor has starred in movies such as the comedy “Bio-Dome” with Pauly Shore, and the mob drama “The Usual Suspects” starring Kevin Spacey as a Hungarian gangster. More recently, he has appeared on reality tv programs like “The Celebrity Apprentice” starring Donald Trump and “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” As if this little news story, symbolic as it may be, is not a bad enouph economic and housing indicator, it was recently reported that de-facto “bank ownership” is at an all-time high and owner equity is at an all-time low. That is a very troubling statistic indeed. Stephen Baldwin might have benefited from some credit counseling After all, sometimes something as simple as debt consolidation can help to solve a problem like this.
At the end of the quarter one 2009, the equity portion in houses was only 41.4% of their complete value. In some rather bizarre celebrity related news out of the Golden State, actress Rachel Bilson is according to a friend, who told People the actress, is shocked that her house was busted into. The actress known for her role in the film Jumper was north of the border with boyfriend Hayden Christiansen when her home was broken into. Thieves made off with bling bling jewelry items like diamond earrings, a Gold diamond watch, a white gold chain, a gold necklace, a breitling watch, plus additional items including designer clothing, a very special shoe collection and a Chanel collection from her house in southern California. But the bling bling jewelry was the major thing, I think.
The actress’s mother who halted by her house to check on it while Bilson was in Canada discovered the break-in. Police have stated there is no sign of forced entry and are still looking into the incidents.
All in all, the bling bling jewelry that was stolen from included various family heirlooms from the actress’s grandmother, Bilson’s representative verified the break-in and said the stolen items are estimated to be hundreds of thousands of dollars. Bilson is said to be devastated over the break-in according to her representative and a friend. Well, I hope that she retrieves at least some of her stuff and that they catch the theirf in question.
