Professional stand-up comedian/actor Chris Rock took the witness chair in a
Los Angeles coutroom and stated that he had hired indicted Hollywood private investigator and celebrity lawyer Tony Pellicano to investigate a claim from a women that he was the father of her child.
The star of such comedic movies such as ‘The Aristocrats’ and ‘Bad Company’ as well as a regular on the television show ‘Saturday night Live’ entered the almost silent Los Angeles courthouse and quite swiftly the judge’s anger during the swearing in process.
Evidently he answered “yup” to the usual question of whether or not he would agree to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth. As you might expect, the judge preciding over this whole fiasco felt his reply was a bit disrespectful to say the least.
He reprimanded him for his choice of words. Then, when he was questioned on under oath as to whether he fully or partially realized that Pellicano was engaged in various criminal activities, he said something like “I relied on what my lawyer told me.”

Alright now back to the story at hand: A Los Angeles government lawyer on the case said that Pellicano took his lawyer and investigator-for-the-famous people act just a bit too far, going as far as bribing the Los Angeles police department as well as telephone firm workers to gain important data which could be used later on in various legal battles.
He is charged with running a criminal operation which employed illegal wiretaps to destroy his client’s legal opponents. There have been a number of strange turns which have occured as of late.
